tldr: out of 17 pizza spots, my top picks are toit (best overall - wood-fired pizza + craft beer), brik oven (best neapolitan style), onesta (best value - unlimited pizza starting rs 299), and 1522 the pub (best pizza pub combo). full reviews with prices and honest opinions below.
i haven’t visited bangalore specifically for a pizza crawl yet. this guide is based on extensive research - local food blogs, google reviews, youtube food reviews, and recommendations from bangalore locals who take their pizza seriously.
i’ve had pizza at toit during visits - that i can vouch for personally. the rest is thoroughly researched. where i’ve eaten, i’ll call it out.
bangalore’s pizza scene is genuinely impressive for an indian city. the craft beer revolution brought wood-fired ovens along with it - every brewery worth its hops now has a pizza program. then you’ve got dedicated pizzerias doing neapolitan, new york, and detroit styles. and on the budget end, you’ve got chains and local joints that make pizza accessible for rs 200-300.
the biggest shift in the last few years has been the move toward proper technique. more restaurants are using wood-fired ovens, proper dough fermentation, and quality ingredients. bangalore’s pizza in 2026 is significantly better than it was five years ago.
the awards (my picks)

- best neapolitan: brik oven, indiranagar - proper technique, imported flour, authentic approach
- best value: onesta, multiple locations - unlimited pizza and pasta starting at rs 299

- best budget dine-in: bob’s bar, multiple locations - decent pizza with cheap beer
- best for families: onesta - the unlimited model is perfect for families with kids

wood-fired pizza
these restaurants use proper wood-fired ovens that hit 400-500 degrees celsius, giving the pizza a charred, smoky flavour and a crispy-yet-chewy crust that no electric oven can replicate.
1. toit
indiranagar, 100 feet road / cost for two: rs 1800 / 9/10
toit’s pizza is, in my opinion, the best in bangalore. the wood-fired oven does what it should - charred spots on the crust, blistered cheese, a smoky undertone that ties everything together. the dough has good fermentation and the crust has the right chew. this is not just “good pizza for a brewery.” this is genuinely good pizza.
the pepperoni pizza is the bestseller and it’s excellent - proper pepperoni that curls up and gets crispy at the edges. the margherita is a clean, honest pizza with good tomato sauce and proper mozzarella. the four cheese is indulgent without being greasy. the bbq chicken is the crowd pleaser for groups.
the fact that you’re eating this pizza alongside toit’s excellent craft beer makes the experience almost unfair to other pizza places. a toit weiss with a pepperoni pizza is one of the best food-drink pairings in bangalore.
visited: yes. the pepperoni pizza was as good as advertised. the weiss pairing was chef’s kiss.
what to order: pepperoni pizza, margherita, pair with toit weiss or basmati blonde.
verdict: the best pizza in bangalore. the beer pairing elevates it further. this is why people queue for 45 minutes at toit on weekends.
2. brik oven
indiranagar (also in koramangala) / cost for two: rs 1400 / 9/10
brik oven is doing the most authentic neapolitan pizza in bangalore. they use imported 00 flour (the type used in naples), hand-stretch every dough, and fire the pizzas in a proper wood-fired oven that produces the characteristic charred, puffy cornicione (the raised edge of neapolitan pizza).
the margherita here is the test - san marzano-style tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, olive oil. it’s simple and it’s excellent. the crust has that slightly soft, foldable texture that proper neapolitan should have. the diavola (spicy pepperoni) adds a good kick. the burrata pizza is rich and indulgent.
the restaurant itself is simple - no fancy decor, just a focus on the food. the pricing is reasonable for the quality, with most pizzas in the rs 500-700 range. they also do good pastas and salads.
what to order: margherita (the litmus test), diavola, burrata pizza.
verdict: the most authentic neapolitan pizza in bangalore. if you care about pizza technique and quality dough, brik oven is the place.
3. 1522 the pub
koramangala / cost for two: rs 1600 / 8.5/10
1522 is a pub-restaurant that takes both its drinks and its pizza seriously. the wood-fired oven produces thin-crust pizzas with a good char and solid toppings. the craft beer selection is curated and the cocktails are decent.
the pepperoni and the truffle mushroom are the highlights. the crust is thinner than toit’s, closer to a crispy roman style than a chewy neapolitan. the portion sizes are generous. the drink pairing options - beer, wine, or cocktails - make this a great evening out.
the space has a classic pub feel with exposed brick and dim lighting. it gets lively on weekends without becoming obnoxiously loud.
what to order: pepperoni pizza, truffle mushroom pizza, pair with their craft beer on tap.
verdict: the best pizza-pub experience in koramangala. great pizza, great drinks, good vibes.
4. glen’s bakehouse
indiranagar / cost for two: rs 1200 / 8/10
glen’s bakehouse is primarily a bakery (covered in my bakeries guide), but their wood-fired pizzas deserve attention. the dough benefits from glen’s baking expertise - it’s well-fermented and the crust has excellent texture. the toppings are quality and the portions are generous.
the margherita and the prosciutto are the strongest options. the space doubles as a cafe-restaurant-bar, so you can pair pizza with coffee, cocktails, or wine depending on the time of day.
what to order: margherita, prosciutto pizza, pair with a glass of wine.
verdict: excellent pizza from a bakery that knows dough. a strong option in indiranagar.
5. the pizza bakery
koramangala, indiranagar / cost for two: rs 1000 / 8/10
the pizza bakery focuses exclusively on pizza and does it well. the dough is made fresh daily with a 24-hour fermentation. the wood-fired oven produces a consistent char. the toppings are quality without being overcomplicated.
what stands out is the value. most pizzas are in the rs 400-500 range, which is cheaper than toit or brik oven for similar quality. the koramangala outlet is the more popular one with a nice rooftop section.
what to order: classic margherita, bbq chicken, any of their signature pizzas.
verdict: the best value wood-fired pizza in bangalore. serious pizza at reasonable prices.
specialty styles
not everyone wants neapolitan. bangalore has options for those who prefer their pizza thick, square, or new york-style.
6. fat tony’s
indiranagar / cost for two: rs 1200 / 8/10
fat tony’s brought detroit-style pizza to bangalore, and it’s a welcome addition. detroit-style means thick dough baked in a rectangular pan, with cheese pushed to the very edges where it caramelises into a crispy, cheesy crust. the sauce goes on top of the cheese, which looks wrong but tastes incredible.
the classic detroit pepperoni is the must-order - thick, square slices with curled pepperoni and that signature edge cheese. it’s satisfying in a way that thin-crust pizza can’t replicate. the portions are generous and the pricing is fair for the style.
the restaurant has a casual, fun vibe with detroit-themed decor and a good drink menu.
what to order: classic detroit pepperoni (non-negotiable), the meat lovers, the margherita detroit.
verdict: the best thick-crust pizza in bangalore. if you’re tired of thin crust, fat tony’s is the answer.
7. joey’s pizza
hsr layout / cost for two: rs 800 / 7.5/10
joey’s does new york-style pizza - large, foldable slices with a thin, flexible crust and generous toppings. it’s the kind of pizza you eat walking down the street (though bangalore’s streets aren’t exactly manhattan).
the slices are large enough that 2-3 can constitute a full meal. the pepperoni and the classic cheese are the strongest options. the crust has the right amount of chew without being too doughy. pricing is reasonable at rs 200-350 per pizza.
what to order: pepperoni slice, classic cheese slice.
verdict: the best new york-style pizza in bangalore. great for a quick, satisfying meal.
gourmet pizza
for when you want pizza to be a proper dining experience.
8. olive beach
ashok nagar, st mark’s road / cost for two: rs 2500 / 8/10
olive beach is a mediterranean restaurant that happens to make excellent thin-crust pizza. the dough is delicate and crispy, the toppings are premium (think truffle oil, burrata, prosciutto), and the presentation is beautiful. these are pizzas designed for the dining table, not the delivery box.
the truffle pizza is the standout - thin, crispy base topped with mushrooms, truffle oil, and parmesan. the prosciutto and arugula is a classic done well. pair with wine from their well-curated list.
what to order: truffle pizza, prosciutto and arugula, with a glass of italian wine.
verdict: the most elegant pizza experience in bangalore. come when you want pizza as fine dining.
9. toscano
ub city, indiranagar / cost for two: rs 2000 / 8/10
toscano is bangalore’s most authentic italian restaurant, and their pizzas reflect that. thin crust, quality imported ingredients, proper italian technique. the quattro formaggi (four cheese) is rich and balanced. the marinara is simple and excellent.
the ub city outlet has the better ambience. the pricing is premium but justified for the quality of ingredients.
what to order: quattro formaggi, marinara, any truffle-based pizza.
verdict: the most authentically italian pizza in bangalore. premium pricing for premium quality.
value and budget pizza
10. onesta
multiple outlets (koramangala, jp nagar, hsr, whitefield, more) / cost for two: rs 600-900 / 8.5/10
onesta’s model is genius: unlimited pizza and pasta starting at rs 299 per person. yes, unlimited. you order from their menu, and they keep bringing fresh pizzas and pastas until you physically cannot eat any more. the quality is surprisingly good for an unlimited model - the pizzas have thin crusts, decent toppings, and come out hot from the oven.
the catch: the initial pizzas are always the best quality. as you order more rounds, the toppings can get thinner. the trick is to order multiple varieties in your first round. the pastas are decent too, though the pizzas are the stronger offering.
the outlets are everywhere across bangalore. the vibe is casual and family-friendly. this is where college groups, budget dates, and families with hungry teenagers all converge.
what to order: order 3-4 different pizzas in your first round. the barbecue chicken and the margherita are the most consistent. add a pasta if you have room.
verdict: the best value pizza in bangalore. unlimited pizza for rs 299 that’s actually good. no brainer for budget-conscious pizza lovers.
11. bob’s bar
multiple outlets / cost for two: rs 800 / 7.5/10
bob’s bar is primarily a bar (covered in my bars guide), but their pizza is a solid bar food option. thin crust, decent toppings, nothing fancy but nothing bad either. paired with their cheap beer (rs 120-150 per pint), a pizza and beer evening at bob’s comes under rs 500 per person.
what to order: any pizza with a pitcher of beer. the chicken tikka pizza is a surprisingly good fusion option.
verdict: the best pizza-and-beer budget combo in bangalore.
12. flambos
koramangala / cost for two: rs 1000 / 7.5/10
flambos is a neighbourhood pizza joint in koramangala that does wood-fired pizza at reasonable prices. the dough is good, the toppings are fresh, and the wood-fired oven gives it proper char. it’s not as polished as brik oven or toit, but for the price point (rs 350-500 per pizza), it’s excellent value.
what to order: margherita, pepperoni, whatever looks good on the specials board.
verdict: good wood-fired pizza at friendly prices. a koramangala local favourite.
delivery chains
sometimes you want pizza on your couch at 11pm. no shame.
13. papa john’s
multiple outlets / cost for two: rs 600 / 7.5/10
papa john’s has better dough than domino’s. that’s the main selling point. the crust has more flavour and better texture. the garlic butter dipping sauce is the secret weapon - it makes even an average pizza taste good. the pepperoni and the chicken tikka are the strongest options.
their deals and combos usually bring the cost down to rs 300-400 for a decent meal. delivery is reliable through their app and through swiggy/zomato.
what to order: pepperoni, chicken tikka, always get the garlic butter sauce.
verdict: the best delivery chain pizza in bangalore. better dough than domino’s, similar pricing.
14. domino’s
multiple outlets (everywhere) / cost for two: rs 500 / 7/10
domino’s is domino’s. you know what you’re getting. the consistency is the strength - every outlet, every city, same pizza. the crust is acceptable, the cheese is generous, the toppings are standard. the deals make it affordable (rs 99-199 pizza offers are constant).
the real value of domino’s is the 30-minute delivery and the late-night availability. when it’s 11pm and you need pizza, domino’s delivers (literally).
what to order: any pizza during a deal. the farmhouse and the peppy paneer are reliable.
verdict: the most reliable delivery pizza. not the best, but always available and always consistent.
15. la pino’z
multiple outlets / cost for two: rs 400 / 7/10
la pino’z is the budget delivery champion. their pizzas are massive - the large is genuinely large - and the prices are low. a full pizza for rs 200-350 is hard to argue with. the quality is decent for the price, with more generous toppings than domino’s.
the dough isn’t great - it’s more bready than crispy. but if your priority is quantity and price, la pino’z delivers.
what to order: any pizza during their frequent deals. the paneer makhani and the chicken tikka are popular.
verdict: the most pizza per rupee in bangalore. quantity over quality, but honest about it.
16. ovenstory
delivery only / cost for two: rs 500 / 7/10
ovenstory is a delivery-only pizza brand that’s found a niche in bangalore. the quality is a step above domino’s - better crust, more creative toppings, and their loaded crust options are genuinely good. they don’t have a dine-in presence, but for delivery pizza, they punch above their weight.
what to order: any loaded crust pizza, the chicken tikka, the bbq chicken.
verdict: the best delivery-only pizza in bangalore. a step above the chains.
the chain comparison table
for the delivery/chain debate that happens every friday night:
| domino’s | papa john’s | la pino’z | ovenstory | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| dough quality | average | good | below average | good |
| toppings | standard | generous | generous | creative |
| avg price (medium) | rs 200-350 | rs 300-450 | rs 200-300 | rs 250-400 |
| delivery speed | fast (30 min) | decent (40 min) | decent (40 min) | decent (45 min) |
| best for | late night, deals | better dough | budget, quantity | creative toppings |
| my rating | 7/10 | 7.5/10 | 7/10 | 7/10 |
