tldr: 10 coworking spaces reviewed. best overall: 91springboard (rs 5,000-8,000/month, strong community). best premium: innov8 (rs 6,000-9,000/month, best design). best value: co-offiz (rs 4,000-5,500/month, chain reliability). chandigarh’s infrastructure makes it one of the most reliable cities for remote work. full reviews below.

chandigarh is a cheat code for remote work in india.

le corbusier designed this city for order, and that order translates directly into remote work quality. the roads are wide. the power supply is the most reliable of any city outside the metros. the broadband infrastructure is excellent. the sectors are clean and green. and the cost of living, while not as dirt-cheap as varanasi or raipur, is significantly lower than delhi, which is just 4-5 hours away.

add to that: chandigarh’s IT corridor (extending into mohali and panchkula, the tricity area) has created a genuine tech ecosystem. infosys, wipro, and dozens of startups have operations here. the coworking scene has grown to serve this population, and the quality reflects a city that takes infrastructure seriously.

the result is maybe 15-20 coworking spaces across chandigarh, mohali, and panchkula, with the best ones offering infrastructure that rivals tier-1 city spaces at significantly lower prices.

i haven’t worked from these spaces personally. this guide is research-backed, compiled from google reviews, user feedback, and what i could verify about pricing and amenities.

detailed reviews

1. 91springboard, sector 34

the community powerhouse / 8.5/10

91springboard’s chandigarh outlet in sector 34 is one of the best coworking spaces in any tier-2 city. the combination of a national chain’s consistency with chandigarh’s excellent infrastructure creates a workspace that’s genuinely reliable.

sector 34 is chandigarh’s primary commercial hub. the location means you’re close to restaurants, banks, and everything else you need for daily life. the space itself is large, well-designed, and has a community that’s more active than most 91springboard outlets.

the wifi is a dedicated 100 mbps leased line with a backup connection. the meeting rooms have proper AV. the phone booths work. the pantry has unlimited tea and coffee. all the 91springboard basics, delivered in a city where the underlying infrastructure (power, internet, roads) actually supports them.

pricing:

  • hot desk: rs 5,000/month
  • dedicated desk: rs 8,000/month
  • private cabin (4-seater): rs 16,000/month
  • meeting room: rs 500/hour
  • day pass: rs 450

what’s good: the strongest community of any coworking space in chandigarh. regular events, pitch sessions, and networking. wifi is rock-solid. chandigarh’s reliable power means the backup is rarely needed but always there. sector 34 location is unbeatable for convenience.

what’s not: pricing is premium for chandigarh (you can get similar basics for rs 2,000-3,000 less elsewhere). the space follows 91springboard’s template, which means it works but doesn’t surprise. can feel crowded during peak periods.

best for: remote workers who value community and networking alongside infrastructure. startup teams. anyone who’s used 91springboard elsewhere and wants the same experience in chandigarh.

2. innov8, sector 17

the design-forward option / 8.5/10

innov8 in sector 17 is chandigarh’s most premium coworking experience. sector 17 is the city’s original commercial centre, and innov8’s interiors bring a design-forward approach that stands out. vibrant colours, quality furniture, soundproofed phone booths, and common areas that feel genuinely comfortable.

chandigarh’s sector 17 has been revitalized over the years, and the area has good walkability, food options, and a vibe that balances commercial activity with the city’s characteristic cleanliness.

pricing:

  • hot desk: rs 6,000/month
  • dedicated desk: rs 9,000/month
  • private cabin (4-seater): rs 18,000/month
  • meeting room: rs 700/hour
  • day pass: rs 500

what’s good: the most aesthetically pleasing workspace in chandigarh. sector 17 location is central and prestigious. excellent wifi and power backup. soundproofed phone booths that actually work. the furniture quality is a level above most competitors.

what’s not: the most expensive option in chandigarh. sector 17 parking can be a challenge. the premium feels steep in a city where excellent options exist at 40% lower prices.

best for: teams hosting clients, professionals who value design and aesthetics, and senior remote workers who can justify the premium.

3. co-offiz, sector 35

the value proposition / 8/10

co-offiz is the best value play in chandigarh’s coworking market. rs 4,000/month for a hot desk with 80 mbps wifi, DG power backup, AC, and tea/coffee in sector 35 is genuinely hard to beat. the space is clean, professional, and well-maintained without the brand premium of 91springboard or innov8.

sector 35 is adjacent to sector 34 and shares its commercial infrastructure. you’re close to markets, restaurants, and the street food scene.

pricing:

  • hot desk: rs 4,000/month
  • dedicated desk: rs 5,500/month
  • private cabin (4-seater): rs 12,000/month
  • meeting room: rs 400/hour
  • day pass: rs 350

what’s good: the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. chain reliability means consistent service. DG power backup (in a city where it’s rarely needed, which is reassuring). sector 35 location is convenient.

what’s not: interiors are functional, not designer. community events are infrequent compared to 91springboard. fewer networking opportunities.

best for: freelancers and remote workers who want good basics at a fair price. the “why would i pay more” crowd.

4. altf coworking, industrial area phase 1

the corporate option / 8/10

altf’s chandigarh location is in industrial area phase 1, which is a business district rather than a residential or commercial sector. the space attracts a more corporate crowd, consultants, businesses with offices, and remote employees of large companies.

the infrastructure is excellent. 100 mbps dedicated wifi, professional meeting rooms, DG backup, and well-maintained interiors. the industrial area location means parking is easy and the surroundings are business-oriented.

pricing:

  • hot desk: rs 5,500/month
  • dedicated desk: rs 8,000/month
  • private cabin (4-seater): rs 16,000/month
  • meeting room: rs 500/hour
  • day pass: rs 500

what’s good: excellent infrastructure. professional meeting rooms suitable for client presentations. 100 mbps wifi that’s consistently fast. the industrial area has good road connectivity.

what’s not: the industrial area lacks the charm and walkability of sectors 17 or 34. fewer food options nearby. the corporate vibe may feel sterile for creative workers.

best for: corporate remote workers, consultants, and businesses that need a professional chandigarh address.

5. workie, sector 34

the mid-range contender / 7.5/10

workie’s sector 34 outlet competes directly with 91springboard on location and is priced lower. the space is well-maintained with decent furniture, good wifi, and full power backup. sector 34’s advantages (food, connectivity, commercial infrastructure) apply equally here.

pricing:

  • hot desk: rs 4,500/month
  • dedicated desk: rs 6,500/month
  • private cabin: rs 13,000/month
  • day pass: rs 400

what’s good: sector 34 location at lower prices than 91springboard. decent wifi at 80 mbps. full power backup. clean, functional space.

what’s not: doesn’t stand out in any particular category. smaller community than 91springboard. fewer meeting room options.

best for: remote workers who want a sector 34 location without 91springboard’s prices.

6. regus, sector 17

the global corporate chain / 8/10

regus is the oldest coworking brand globally, and their sector 17 outlet caters to businesses and professionals who need a formal, corporate environment. the space is more “serviced office” than “startup coworking,” with reception services, mail handling, and professional meeting rooms.

pricing:

  • hot desk: rs 6,000/month
  • dedicated desk: rs 9,000/month
  • private cabin: rs 18,000+/month
  • virtual office: rs 4,000/month
  • meeting room: rs 800/hour

what’s good: the most professional environment on this list. global brand recognition. virtual office plans for businesses needing a chandigarh address. proper reception and mail handling. sector 17 address is prestigious.

what’s not: the most corporate and formal option. no startup vibe, no community events, no networking. pricing matches innov8 without the design appeal. the space feels like a traditional office, not a coworking space.

best for: businesses needing a professional address, consultants meeting clients, and corporate professionals who prefer a formal environment.

7. ihub chandigarh, sector 34

the incubator option / 7.5/10

ihub is a coworking space with incubation features. it supports startups with mentorship, investor access, and government scheme navigation alongside the standard coworking amenities. the sector 34 location is excellent, and the pricing is among the lowest on this list.

pricing:

  • hot desk: rs 3,500/month
  • dedicated desk: rs 5,000/month
  • private cabin: rs 10,000/month
  • day pass: rs 300

what’s good: affordable pricing with incubation support. sector 34 location. access to mentorship and startup schemes. full power backup.

what’s not: wifi at 60 mbps is the lowest among the better-rated spaces. the space leans toward early-stage startups, which may not suit remote employees. furniture and interiors are functional, not ergonomic.

best for: startup founders who want incubation support with their workspace. budget-conscious entrepreneurs.

8. startup centre, IT park mohali

the tricity tech option / 7.5/10

startup centre is located in mohali’s IT park area, serving the tricity’s tech corridor. if you work in IT and live in mohali, this space makes geographical sense. the IT park infrastructure is solid, with good roads, parking, and commercial amenities.

pricing:

  • hot desk: rs 4,000/month
  • dedicated desk: rs 6,000/month
  • private cabin: rs 12,000/month
  • day pass: rs 350

what’s good: IT park location with good infrastructure. decent wifi at 80 mbps. full power backup. proximity to IT companies for networking.

what’s not: located in mohali, not chandigarh proper. if you don’t live in mohali, the commute adds friction. the IT park area is functional but soulless.

best for: tech professionals living in mohali. anyone working with IT companies in the mohali corridor.

9. istart coworking, sector 17

the budget option / 7/10

  • dedicated desk: rs 4,500/month
  • private cabin: rs 9,000/month
  • day pass: rs 250

what’s good: cheapest coworking in chandigarh with a sector 17 address. government startup scheme access. full power backup. the price is genuinely low for the location.

what’s not: government-run feel. wifi at 60 mbps is lower than private options. operating hours may be limited. the furniture and interiors are basic.

best for: budget-conscious startups and freelancers who want a central location at the lowest price.

10. deskNow, sector 22

the neighbourhood option / 7.5/10

deskNow is a locally-run coworking space in sector 22, one of chandigarh’s busy commercial sectors known for its market. the space serves the local population of freelancers and remote workers who prefer sector 22’s energy over the quieter sectors.

pricing:

  • hot desk: rs 4,000/month
  • dedicated desk: rs 5,500/month
  • private cabin: rs 11,000/month
  • day pass: rs 350

what’s good: sector 22 location with plenty of food and shopping nearby. DG power backup. good wifi at 80 mbps. fair pricing.

best for: freelancers and remote workers in the sector 22 area.

the chandigarh advantage for remote work

chandigarh has structural advantages that most tier-2 cities don’t:

  • power reliability. chandigarh is a union territory with its own power distribution. outages are rare and short. this alone puts it ahead of most indian cities for remote work.
  • planned city infrastructure. wide roads, organized sectors, green spaces. the daily experience of living and commuting in chandigarh is less stressful than practically any other indian city.
  • tricity ecosystem. chandigarh, mohali, and panchkula together form a metro-adjacent area with IT companies, startups, and a growing professional population.
  • proximity to delhi and shimla. 4-5 hours to delhi for meetings. 3-4 hours to shimla for weekend getaways. the geography is convenient.
  • quality of life. clean air (by indian city standards), green spaces, sukhna lake for morning walks, the rock garden for weekends. chandigarh regularly ranks among india’s most liveable cities.

what to look for in a coworking space in chandigarh

sector location matters. sectors 17, 34, and 35 have the most coworking options and the best surrounding infrastructure. mohali IT park serves the tech corridor. choose based on where you live.

chandigarh’s power is good, but verify DG backup anyway. the city rarely has extended outages, but for critical work, DG backup provides peace of mind.

trial first. chandigarh has enough options that you can spend a week doing day passes at different spaces before committing. take advantage of this.

winter is beautiful, summer is hot. chandigarh winters (november-february) are pleasant. summers (may-june) hit 40+ degrees. ensure your workspace has industrial AC.
